QuarkXPress Introduction Course Description: This course introduces QuarkXPress and teaches how to create publications for Print. Students will learn: Create documents containing text and graphics; Link text across multiple pages; create automatic page elements (such as headers, footers, and page numbers); Import and format text and paragraphs using Paragraph and Character Style Sheets; Import Images; Wrap text around a text and graphic boxes; Tabs and Indents; work with Special Characters and Glyphs; Create and apply Process (CMYK) and Spot colors; Create and work with Tables; Create and work with Inline Graphics; Perform Search and Replace; and Prepare a document for hand-off to a commercial printer. Prerequisites: Experience with a computer. This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
