QuarkXPress Intermediate Course Description: Build on existing skills and learn some of the more advanced features of QuarkXPress. Students will learn how to: Draw and edit Bézier lines and shapes; Import, create and edit Clipping Paths and Alpha Channels; Apply Transparency and automatic feathered Drop Shadows to pictures and text; import multilayered Photoshop® files, hide and show the layers in those files, and control the way in which the layers in an imported Photoshop file are combined using PSD Import; and how to export different versions of PDF files for different purposes (such as Web distribution and printing). Prerequisites: QuarkXPress Intro (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
