ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Restoration & Retouching Course Description: This class is designed for students that want to know how to restore old photos and/or retouch new ones! Students will begin by learning about basic concepts, such as proper tonal and color adjustment, selections, and masking—then procede to master Photoshop’s retouching tools, like the Healing Brush, Patch Tool, and Clone Stamp. After building a solid foundation, students will learn how these tools and techniques come together to solve a wide range of restoration and retouching problems including: Assessing the damage to a photo and repair tears, stains, and missing pieces; Work effectively with black-and-white images; Retouch portraits to eliminate braces, blemishes, wrinkled clothing, and even remove glares on eyeglasses. Prerequisites: Photoshop Introduction and Photoshop Intermediate (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
