ADOBE PHOTOSHOP color correction Course Description: Learning how to choose the right correction technique is an essential part of mastering Photoshop. Several different tools are available, some more useful than others. Learn professional techniques for obtaining consistent, predictable, high quality images. Included: Calibrating a monitor and using color management profiles to control the image display to match its intended output; Creating crisp Line Art images; Eliminating dust and scratches; Suppressing Moiré patterns; Correcting red eye defects; Apply color by the numbers using Levels and Curves; use Adjustment Layers to eliminate color casts and maximize contrast; techniques for improving Sharpness; Converting color images to Grayscale; create Duotones; adding Spot Colors to images; and creating Clipping Paths for adding transparency to images when used in other programs. Prerequisites: Photoshop Introduction (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows.
