FileMaker Pro Introduction

Course Description:

This class is ideal for those who have been using FileMaker Pro without training or have never used FileMaker Pro before who want to acquire a solid foundation for creating FileMaker Database Solutions. Students will learn: Best practices for developing database solutions; Working with Data; Finding and Sorting Records; Printing and Previewing Data; Save data as a PDF; send to Excel; Importing/Exporting Data; creating a Data Merge; Define Layouts and Layout Objects; Defining Fields and setting Auto-entry, Validation, and Storage/Indexing options; Tables; Container fields; Web Viewer Objects; Tab Control Objects; creating Relationships—Complex, Self-Relational and Filtering; and creating simple Scripts and Buttons.

Prerequisites:

Experience with a computer and basic word processing skills. This course is offered for both Mac & Windows and covers version 12.
