FileMaker Pro intermediate Course Description: This course is designed for individuals who have used FileMaker Pro to create simple databases and now want to develop more sophisticated solutions. Students will learn basic to moderately complex Scripts, Calculations, and Functions. By the end of the course, students will: learn and use common Calculation Functions and Custom Functions; Scripts to automate tasks; using the Script Debugger and Data Viewer to troubleshoot Scripts; add Error Trapping Routines to Scripts; Script Parameters, Script Results, and Script Variables; Looping Scripts; advanced Reporting features; creating and using Portals; and adding Security Access features to a database. Prerequisites: FileMaker Pro Introduction (or equivalent knowledge). This course is offered for both Mac & Windows and covers version 11.
