Adobe® Authorized Training Center (AATC)

An Adobe Authorized Training Center is a training facility that offers instructor-led courses and training on Adobe products. To become AATCs, training centers must employ Adobe Certified Instructors (ACIs) to teach their Adobe courses, and meet additional requirements.

Adobe® Certified Instructor (ACI)

An Adobe Certified Instructor is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) or an Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) who has taken his or her skills to the next level and provides instruction on Adobe products. In order to become an ACI, you must show you have an instructor qualification (a teaching credential, passed the CompTIA CTT+, or equivalent), and have passed one or more ACE exams.

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)

An Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) is a person who has demonstrated proficiency with one or more Adobe software products. To become ant ACE, you must pass one or more product-specific proficiency exams.

The QuarkXPress Certified Expert credential is for professionals and companies proving that they have the skills, expertise, and proficiency to successfully deliver projects using QuarkXPress software. QuarkXPress certification acknowledges this expertise to clients, employers, and peers.

FileMaker® Business Alliance (FBA) Member, Associate Level

The FileMaker Business Alliance (FBA) is designed exclusively for companies that provide products and services based on the FileMaker product line. This includes FileMaker consultants, trainers, publishers, commercial solution providers, plug-in providers, and hosting companies.

FileMaker® Business Alliance (FBA), Trainer Level Member

In addition to the requirements of a FileMaker Business Alliance member, a Trainer level member must provide a published schedule of training courses related to FileMaker Pro. The company must have a training facility, and a web site with an online registration form or information on how to register for a class

CompTIA, CTT+, Certified Technical Trainer, Certificate of Mastery

CompTIA CTT+ certification is the credential recognizing excellence in instruction. It is a vendor-neutral certification that is applicable to training professionals in all industries. CompTIA CTT+ proves the mastery of core instructor skills, including preparation, presentation, communication, facilitation and evaluation in a classroom environment.

The CTT+ certificate is a cross-industry credential providing recognition that a technical instructor has attained a standard of excellence in the training industry. Trainers must demonstrate a thorough knowledge and ability to train adults in technical and software subjects. Each trainer must pass an intensive written exam on training techniques and concepts based on the Instructor competencies manual of the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction. A panel of judges evaluates each trainer’s ability to teach while watching them in a classroom setting. If candidates successfully complete both parts of the certification process, they become Certified Technical Trainers (CTT).
